Camp Read-a-Lot has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 18th from 5pm to 6:30 pm!

Attention Parents! Here's our April newsletter!

What a FUN Friday we had. Volleyball Tournament, PBIS teacher egg cart, T's treats, egg hunts, and lots of laughter! We hope you all have a WONDERFUL Spring Break!

Coming to school is one of the most important parts of learning! These were 6 of the students who have been here EVERY day in the month of March. Congratulations Kaylen Crumpton, A'Ziyah Spradley, Jarriyah Williams, Kayden Wiggins, Kerri Johnson & Koy Johnson! 🎉

Pre-K had an EGG-ceptional day with their Spring Celebration! They worked on various skills such as waiting in line, friendship, artistic expression with chalk, music and movement activities. They practiced these skills while doing an egg hunt, egg relays, chalk art, bubbles, and music stations. What a fun way to transition into SPRING BREAK!

Mrs. McCall’s Gifted 2nd graders have been learning about erosion and how it can impact a community. They made predictions, conducted investigations, made observations, and recorded data about the effects ice, wind, moving water, and an earthquake had on their landforms. They will continue to learn how engineers can help prevent or reduce the impact of erosion.

Congrats to our Volleyball tournament winners! All the proceeds from the tournament are going to support field day this year 🙌🏻🏐🏆

WG Nunn had a great time on Tuesday at our VCS district STEAM Night! We saw several of our students enjoying the different stations around the gym. Thank you to our two student helpers Makayla Thomas and Allen Stone for helping Ms. DeWeese and Mrs. McCall run the Surface Tension of Water Experiment all night! We can’t wait for next years event!

Parents of girls interested in middle school volleyball, mark your calendars for Monday, March 25, 2024 at 6:00 pm There will be an interest meeting held in the VMS Cafeteria where Coach Bryan Deal will discuss the sport, answer any questions and go over the volleyball tryout process. If you need more information, contact bryan.deal@gocats.org.

Mrs. C. Williams' 5th grade class got a special visit from Rajaez Moseley yesterday. He is a former student who went to WG Nunn, graduated college, is working on his masters, and chose to impart some wisdom on us. "Always believe in yourself. Know who you are as a student."
