Sallas Mahone Elementary Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl Picture Book Team was recognized at the school board meeting for winning first and second place in the district. They then advanced to the State Competition in Macon on November 8th—where they earned 1st in the Southern District and 1st in the State. This achievement reflects their incredible hard work, dedication, and love of reading!
Fifth grade student, Rylee Shaw, was recognized at the VCS board meeting last night as being the HOLIDAY CARD art design winner! Congratulations, Rylee - we are so proud of you!

Winter Break is almost here! We will have early dismissal next Friday, December 19.
Please plan for the following times.
Car Riders: PK-2nd @ 11:15, 3rd-5th @ 11:30 - If you have children in both groups, you may come at 11:30.
Daycare Riders: 11:30 - Please confirm that your child's daycare is picking up.
Bus Riders: 12:00 - Please make sure someone is home in case of early arrival.
If you will have a change of transportation, please send in a note.
