Our rescheduled book fair will take place beginning this Saturday, Nov. 16th, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. Students will have an opportunity to shop throughout next week, Nov. 18th-22nd. Check with your child's teacher about specific times they may have scheduled to shop at the book fair!

Our very own SME family members who have served or are currently serving in one of our military branches, along with our students, will celebrate with a parade! The parade will begin at 8:30. Guests may arrive at 8:15.
Please note, if your child chooses to opt out of wearing red, white, and blue, they must adhere to school dress code by wearing their school uniform.

Sallas Mahone will have a Scholastic Book Fair Sat., Sept. 28th from 10 AM-12 PM and Sept. 30-Oct. 4 from 7:00 AM-2:00 PM.

**We suggest setting up an eWallet for our younger students.**
Online shopping is September 30 - October 13.
**Note: Teachers may schedule a class visit time so be sure to stay in contact with your child's teacher.
🚗We are inviting our SME Families to join us this Thursday, September 19th for our Tailgate Trail!🚙
Come join us on the trail behind our school from 5:30-6:30 PM with tailgating cars and trucks set up with literacy focused activities and games!

📢SME Family, reminder that VCS will have early dismissal this coming Friday, September 13th.📢
If your child will have a change of transportation, please contact and inform your child's teacher (each homeroom teacher, for each grade level) of their change of transportation.
SME dismissal times:
Car Riders: Pre-K, K, 1, 2 @11:45, Grades 3-5 @12:00pm
Daycare: 12:00 pm. Please contact your child’s daycare to make sure they are picking up. If not, please make other arrangements.
VCS Buses: Buses will be dismissed as they enter campus. Approx. 12:30pm buses are scheduled to leave SME campus, but make sure someone is at home to receive children off the bus in case they arrive earlier.
