🌈Next week we will blast with color each day of the week!🌈 August 12th-16th we will wear a color a day to help our kindergartners learn their colors! Mon., Aug. 12th: Red Tues., Aug. 13th: Orange Wed., Aug. 14th: Green Thurs., Aug. 15th: Blue Fri., Aug. 16th: Yellow Note: If your child opts out of wearing the color of the day they must wear their dress code uniform.

This morning Sallas Mahone Elementary was awarded the 2024 Georgia's Military Flagship School Award!🎉 Thank you to Georgia's State School Superintendent, Dr. Richard Woods, and other representatives for traveling to our school and presenting this honorary award. This award recognizes schools that go above and beyond to provide a supportive environment for military students and families. Our military mentoring program was established in 2005 and was soon named the Scott Craven Program in 2006 following the death of one of the dedicated airmen who volunteered regularly with Sallas Mahone to ensure that our military children were taken care of during a parent's deployment.
