Two Events in One!
Join us for our Annual Title I Meeting AND Parents are Teachers, Too on Tuesday, August, 26!
Our Title I Meeting will be from 5:00-5:30 in the gym. From there, we will go to the grade level hallways, where you will hear about what your child is learning and how you can help support learning at home.
We will have two sessions of Parents are Teachers, Too. The first is from 5:30-6:00 and the second is from 6:00-6:30.
We also have our PreK Parent Orientation at 4:00pm in the Media Center. PreK Parents: Come here about what your child is learning in PreK and how you can help at home!
We hope to see you then!

¡Únase a nosotros para nuestra Reunión Anual del Título I Y los Padres También Son Maestros el martes 26 de agosto!
Nuestra reunión de Título I será de 5:00 a 5:30 en el gimnasio. Después, nos dirigiremos a los pasillos de cada grado, donde les contaremos lo que está aprendiendo su hijo/a y cómo pueden apoyar el aprendizaje en casa.
Tendremos dos sesiones de "Padres y Maestros También". La primera será de 5:30 a 6:00 y la segunda de 6:00 a 6:30.

Be sure to get your school uniforms ready for next week! Uniforms are required Monday through Thursday. Students may opt to wear black and gold or the Sallas Mahone t-shirt on Fridays instead of uniforms. Go Cats!

Face Painting!
Tomorrow, August 8, SME will offer face painting for $2.00! A yellow permission home has been sent home with your child. You will need to send in the permission form and money with your child for them to turn in to their homeroom teacher.

📢SME Families, reminder that VCS will have early dismissal on Friday, May 23rd.📢
If your child will have a change of transportation, please contact and inform your child's teacher (each homeroom teacher, for each grade level) of their change of transportation. SME dismissal times:
Car Riders: Pre-K, K, 1, 2 @11:45, Grades 3-5 @12:00pm
Daycare: 11:45pm. Please contact your child’s daycare to make sure they are picking up. If not, please make other arrangements.
VCS Buses: Buses will be dismissed as they enter campus. Approx. 12:30pm buses are scheduled to leave SME campus, but make sure someone is at home to receive children off the bus in case they arrive earlier.

🎉Today our military children held their final military breakfast to wrap up the 24/25 school year. 🎉
Students were able to chat and mingle together one last time as some of these students will be moving on through travels as their families continue to serve our country!
