🏃🏽‍♀️Calling all SME girls from 3rd-5th grade! It is time for the spring sign up for Girls on the Run. This program is a fun, evidence-based program that inspires all girls to build their confidence, kindness and decision making skills. Dynamic lessons instill valuable life skills including the important connection between physical and emotional health. (Girls on the Run, South Georgia). Please use the information to sign up today! 📝🖼️We invite you, all of our SME Families, to join us for our 2nd annual Author and Art Exhibit on Thursday, January 18th, from 5:30-6:30 PM! 🖼️📝 Come discover all of the hard work your child has been putting into their writing and artwork this school year. We will even display those who have been awarded a ribbon of achievement. From these awarded writings, one writing per grade level will be chosen to submit to the district writing fair to possibly compete in the Young Georgia Author Writing Competition. SME had 2 of the 5 district winners last year! We hope that you can spare your time and support for all of these talented writers by stopping by next Thursday!

This group of students gave it their all! We are so proud of each participant. Car Riders: PreK, K, 1, 2 @11:45, Grades 3-5 @12:00pm Please display your printed car tags in your car window. DayCare: 12:00 pm Please contact your child’s daycare to make sure they are picking up early. If not, make other arrangements. VCS Buses: At 12:30pm buses are scheduled to leave SME campus. Make sure someone is at home to receive children off the bus. Winter break is December 21st - January 5th. We look forward to seeing your children returning on Monday, January 8th!
